Context
La fabrique optique de Sainte-Julienne becomes the first banner of the Regard action cooperative. Located in the Lanaudière region, this local business promotes local know-how, authenticity and the talent of its eyecare artisans. An independent group sensitive to their ecological and social impact.

Design approach
The notion of the artisan is at the heart of the design approach. The glass-shaping workshop, open to the boutique, offers intimate access to the manufacturing process. The simplicity of the plywood display cabinets, the layout of the optical tools and the filling station enhance the customer experience in a way that is more human than clinical. 

Result
An accessible place, combining craftsmanship, eye care and human connection.
